North Carolina Zeta Day is excited to have Dr. Brenda Asplund join us as our keynote speaker!
Dr. Brenda Asplund, PharmD is a graduate of Ohio Northern University (Delta Theta chapter!) and UNC-CH and has worked in a variety of roles as a pharmacist. She has extensive experience in leadership and clinical pharmacy along with teaching pharmacy students and residents. While work with learners, Dr. Asplund began to study and utilize work in the field of generational differences to understand and collaborate more effectively with both coworkers and learners. This fascinating field of study became a passion for it’s potential to enhance work life and everyday interactions. She is excited to share it with her NC Zisters to smooth transitions into the workplace and into alumnae life in chapters with multiple generations.
On a personal note, Brenda lives in Asheville with her husband, very fat cat, and semi-toothless chihuahua Hershey, while her only son Lucas is a freshman at the University of Vermont. While working as a clinical educator for a rare lung disease, she also loves working with the local MSABC committee, singing with her band, and reading. She is the current president of the Blue Ridge Alumnae chapter.
